Quality Engineer
RES Engineering designs and supplies pumps and valves to the NPPs all over the World. A huge part of our products is produced in China. Since quality is a crucial criteria in the Nuclear industry we are looking for the engineer to perform incoming inspection including testing to assure the quality of the supplied products.
Responsibilities:
• To perform incoming inspections of valve and pumps (mainly visual and dimensional).
• To participate in FAT of the products as per appropriate test programs.
• To create necessary reports on the inspection results, including NCR inquires and approval.
• To check NDT/DT material certificates
• To resolve all the raised issues with factories and design developers. To arrange necessary meeting or calls.
• To arrange QMS audits and/or inspection with Customer and 3rd parties.
• Skills in interpreting drawings and handling technical documentation;
• Experience in using measuring instruments, visual inspection, including control of welded joints, surfacing, castings, etc.
• Experience in valves and/or pumps acceptance testing.
• Matching the common attributes of the team (logic, result-oriented approach, being a good listener, taking responsibility, respect, operational mindset, open-mindedness, precision, diligence and empathy).
• Fluent Russian or English. Speaking all 3 languages - Russian, English and Chinese - will be an advantage.
• Higher education (preferably technical);
