Single Retiree Receiving a Pension of $1,900 USD Per Month by Halfwaytree

If I choose to take early retirement now at age 58, my monthly pension would be 1,900 USD and will increase each year indexed to inflation. Realisticly, after paying for health insurance, rent for a studio or one bedroom apartment in a beach ...

Shipping a laptop from the U.S. by Marat2017

Hello. Is it OK to purchase a laptop online (Amazon or Best Buy) in the U.S. and ship it to Mexico? Any feedback? Thank you.

I buy stuff online & have it shipped to a Mail place by the border. Dunno if you wanted to avoid crossing or are even near. But you could find out if they receive it there how much they charge to ship it to you in MX. Might be cheaper than ... Read More

Living in Rosarito and working in San Diego by Heatherwbb

I was wondering if its easy and okay to live in Rosarito and work in San Diego, crossing the border in the daytime, roughly 4 or 5 days a week. Is it hard and do alot of people do it?

gringalatina

It only took me a month to get Sentri a couple of months ago! I don't know if I just got lucky, or that's the norm right now though. Jen Read More

I'd recommend setting home base a little closer to the border. I live in Playas, and it takes me about 25 mins just to get to the Sentri Lane without traffic. Add another 30 minutes at least to get there from Rosarito & you're at an hour ... Read More
