Its important to know if this contract is a proposta di acquisto or a preliminare di vendita. Unless it is specifically agreed otherwise, the buyer is only responsible for his fees. however, whether anything is due is up for debate at this point. ... Read More

A general guide for anyone checking to see if their agent is legal is this site: https://agentiimmobiliariabilitati.it/ and you can fill in the fields and if it is a licenced agent or agency it should show up. Not definitive but a good start. Read More

February (like August) probably isnt the best time to get a feel for a place. Personally I would choose Marsala over Trapani every time, but other wont feel the same. Without Ryanair you get the impression that Trapani would be a ghost town, ... Read More

Buying in Sicily by Pumarosa200

I’m thinking of buying a place in Sicily can anyone tell me if there are estate agents that do rent to buy properties like they do in Bulgaria any information would be very useful thanks in advance

Modicasa

There is a rent to buy option that is legal in Italy. However, you will still need a deposit, and the term is a maximum 10 years. Half your rent is rent, the other half pays capital. Not many sellers are interested in the option. Read More
