I have been travelling/working in Latin America since 1992...a lot of countries but principally Mexico. I have been teaching English and Italian since 2002 in various levels...university, high school, private franchises, and currently have my own school. I am tired of the hot weather and it looks like Bogota is a lot cooler. I will arrive on or about November 18. I plan on renting a cheap room for the 1st month and then a studio appartment near my place of employment. I do not expect difficulty in finding a teaching job, but I do need help in one area. There appears to be a conflict on prices. I speak fluent Spanish and feel that prices listed on the internet are for unaware gringos. Please, can anyone help me find a simple room with cable TV and telephone access in the Usaquen area for a max of 200USD? I would really appreciate the help as I am saving up my money for the trip and cannot afford to pay much more. Thans in advance, Sal
