Hello, my name is Valeria and I come from Latvia, a small country in Northern Europe. I am an individual passionate about languages, cultures and gratuitously helping others. My course of education made me an expert in Japanese culture and society and motivated me to travel the world, constantly learning and enriching myself wherever I go. Recently I have completed a 10 months internship teaching English in Morocco and now looking forward to relocate to this wonderful country of contrasts. Although, it is a challenging place to live, I strongly believe that only by getting out of our comfort zone we can achieve new heights, develop and toughen our character. Internship with British Centre Group (Casablanca/El Jadida)
Wonderful weather, beautiful ocean-side, amazing food culture
Quite conservative, lots of people constantly staring, men following you around, no entertainment (sadly a very boring place to live in the whole time. People try to escape from there for the weekends and during holidays)
Exchange programme at Nagoya University of Foreign Studies.
Food culture and entertainment/festivals
Climate and HUGE insects, not enough nature and too much concrete, big distances
Enrolled at Oxford Brookes University
Small, quite place with lush nature and stunning architecture. Amazing student environment with lots of opportunities for learning and development. One of the greenest cities in UK, with almost every person having a bicycle.
It is expensive to live there. Be prepared to meet lots of posh (high-class) people if you want to hang around Oxford Colleges.
