I'm originally from the UK, but been on the road now for 15 years, living in China, Japan, and more recently Switzerland and Germany. Every time I moved to a new country I found the same problem with trying to get city specific information and quickly turned to blogs as the answer. But I realised this can't just be one way, so now I try and write down the things I learn about the city so that there is a trail for the next person to follow, and hopefully avoid a few of the pitfalls!
