Introduction

We have a small bed & breakfast about 30 miles wnw of Cd. Victoria, Tamaulipas, known as the Quinta Tesoro de la Sierra Madre. It is up against the mountains and has a plethora of birds, butterflies, and natural goodies. We are semi-retired folks who enjoy doing the next thing and taking care of our parents and very young grandchildren. We are multi-generational Texans, wife (13 generations) and your humble servant (6 generations). My great-grandfather and grandmother had a 600 hectarea hacienda in the outback of the mountains of Vera Cruz State back in the 1880s through the early 1900s.

I joined expat.com on 19 February 2009.
