Introduction

Hello everyone, Allow me to introduce myself. I originally hail from Tunisia, but I was born in Nice, France. Since 2003, I've embarked on a journey of expatriation across Europe, which often raises questions about my true identity as an expatriate. I spent 3 years in Italy, 1 year in Austria, and then 2 years in England. Currently, I find myself back in my home country, Tunisia, where I've never lived before. Some may wonder if I still qualify as an expatriate, considering my return to my country of origin. For me, expatriation is more about the experience and perspective it brings rather than the place of residence. My travels across Europe have allowed me to explore new cultures, learn different languages, and meet incredible people. It has enriched my life in ways I could never have imagined. Today, I am involved in the real estate sector in Tunisia, specializing in the sale of beachfront properties along the golden coasts of this magnificent country. My role involves showcasing the wonderful real estate opportunities that Tunisia offers, particularly emphasizing properties with prime beachfront locations. I am truly passionate about my work, and I firmly believe that Tunisia holds tremendous potential in terms of real estate investments, providing international buyers with a unique opportunity to acquire their dream Mediterranean residence. In summary, I consider myself a global citizen, originally from Tunisia but with roots in France and a life-enriching experience of traversing Europe. My goal is to promote Tunisia's real estate treasures and assist people in finding their piece of paradise by the sea. I'm excited to share this journey with you and introduce you to the exceptional opportunities that Tunisia has to offer. Thank you for reading, and please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or an interest in real estate in Tunisia.

Sousse, Tunisia, holds a special place in my heart, and it's where I've chosen to build my life and pursue various projects. Here's a glimpse into my life and what I'm working on in this captivating location: Residence by the Sea: My decision to settle in Sousse was motivated by the stunning coastal beauty this city offers. I am fortunate to call a beachfront property here my home, and I wake up to breathtaking views of the Mediterranean every day. Sousse's Mediterranean climate, with its warm, sunny days, is something I cherish. Real Estate Ventures: Given my background in the real estate industry, Sousse is an ideal place for me to invest and develop various real estate projects. I am actively involved in identifying prime real estate opportunities along the coastal regions and working on projects that enhance the local real estate landscape. Whether it's renovating historical properties, developing new beachfront condos, or promoting tourism-focused properties, Sousse's real estate market holds tremendous potential. Community Involvement: Sousse is not just where I live; it's my community. I believe in giving back to the local community, and I'm involved in various community-driven initiatives. This includes supporting local businesses, participating in charity events, and engaging with the local population. Sousse has a rich cultural heritage, and I'm committed to preserving and celebrating its traditions. Promotion of Sousse: I'm enthusiastic about sharing the beauty and opportunities of Sousse with a global audience. I'm involved in initiatives to promote Sousse as a prime destination for tourists and investors. The city's history, stunning beaches, and vibrant culture are all aspects I'm passionate about showcasing to the world. Cultural Exploration: Sousse has a rich historical and cultural background, and I'm dedicated to immersing myself in the local culture. I enjoy exploring the ancient medina, visiting archaeological sites, and savoring the delicious Tunisian cuisine. These experiences not only enrich my life but also enable me to connect with the local community on a deeper level. In summary, Sousse, Tunisia, is not just a place I reside in; it's a location that has become an integral part of my life and business endeavors. Its beauty, culture, and potential for growth have inspired me to invest my time and efforts in this enchanting coastal city. I look forward to continuing my journey in Sousse and contributing to its prosperity and development.

While Sousse, Tunisia, is a place that I've chosen to call home and invest in, like any location, it comes with its set of characteristics that may not be to everyone's liking. Here are some aspects that I've found challenging or less appealing about this destination: Economic Challenges: Tunisia, like many countries, faces economic challenges, which can impact the local job market and overall financial stability. While I've found opportunities in the real estate sector, economic fluctuations can pose uncertainties for businesses and individuals. Language Barrier: The primary language in Tunisia is Arabic, and while French is widely spoken, communication can be challenging for those who do not speak these languages fluently. This language barrier can create obstacles in daily life and business interactions, especially for expatriates. Seasonal Tourism: Sousse relies heavily on tourism, and this means that the city can experience significant fluctuations in population and activity, depending on the tourist season. While this brings economic benefits, it can also lead to a less stable and predictable environment for residents. Cultural Differences: Living in a foreign culture can be enriching, but it can also be challenging. Some cultural differences, such as local customs and traditions, may not align with personal preferences or expectations. Infrastructure and Services: Like many developing regions, Sousse may face infrastructure and service limitations. This can affect aspects such as transportation, healthcare, and public services, which may not be on par with more developed countries. Political Uncertainty: Tunisia has experienced periods of political instability, which can have an impact on the overall environment. While the country has made progress in recent years, ongoing political changes can create uncertainties. Environmental Concerns: Sousse, like many coastal cities, is vulnerable to environmental issues, including beach erosion and pollution. Climate change and its effects on the coastline are a concern for both residents and the tourism industry. It's important to note that while there are aspects of Sousse that may pose challenges or be less favorable, there are also numerous positive aspects that attract residents and investors. Every location has its pros and cons, and personal experiences can vary widely. My decision to live and invest in Sousse is based on my assessment of its potential and my willingness to embrace the opportunities and challenges that come with it.

I've been living in Tunisia since September 2008, and during these years, I've had a diverse and interesting experience in this beautiful country. Here's a glimpse into my journey: Positive Aspects: Climate and Scenic Beauty: One of the most appealing aspects of Tunisia for me is the climate. The abundant sunshine and great weather have been a constant source of joy. The stunning landscapes, particularly the coastal areas with their beautiful beaches, have made every day feel like a vacation. Local Culture and Nightlife: Tunisia's cultural diversity has been fascinating to explore. I've enjoyed the lively nightlife in cities like Sousse and Hammamet, where you can find a wide range of pubs and entertainment options. The unique charm of Sidi Bou Said and the cultural richness of the southern regions have left lasting impressions. Warm and Genuine People: The people of Tunisia have a reputation for their warm hospitality. I've encountered genuine individuals who have gone out of their way to welcome me and make me feel at home. However, I've also experienced the complexities of human relationships, as some can be less welcoming. Challenges and Concerns: Bureaucracy and Police Solicitation: Dealing with bureaucracy and the occasional experience of being asked for small bribes by the police at roundabouts can be frustrating. It's a practice that can create a negative perception of law enforcement. Smoking and Littering: The prevalence of smoking in public spaces can be a nuisance, especially for non-smokers. Additionally, littering on the streets can be an eyesore and harm the environment. In summary, my experience in Tunisia has been a mix of positive and challenging aspects. The natural beauty, climate, and rich culture have made my time here truly enjoyable. However, like any place, Tunisia has its drawbacks, including certain social and environmental issues. Despite the challenges, I remain committed to my goal of retiring here and continuing to enjoy the many wonderful aspects that this country has to offer.

I don't like the police in every roudabout begging for a few dinars. The people who smoke everywhere and those who drop their rubish on the streets...
