I am a 30 something year old wife and mother and living in Mexico. I arrived south of the boarder on April 3rd 2008 with the most amazing husband and 2 brave little children...all stuffed into our Land Rover with whatever would fit in it or on it.

Puerto Vallarta was our first destination abroad and we hold many great memories of that cozy little beach town. Getting our feet wet in a new country seems like a project all its own. This time spent in Puerto Vallarta was about learning the ropes in a new country, from FM3 visas to what was the best school for my kidos.

The tourism is very strong in Puerto Vallarta and that sometimes took the adventure of being in another country away. Needless to say my Spanish skills suffered, everyone and mean everyone speaks English. Prices are outrageous, from housing to tacos.

Owned and operated a high end furniture store. All of my family and close friends were left behind in Oregon. I was busy every second of everyday, and was actively part of the whole "rat race".

It rains allot in the Pacific Northwest...360 days a year or something close to that Im sure!
