My wife Susie and I have both been professionals who are getting ready to retire. We lived near Madrid, Spain in the 70's while I was in the US Air Force in the 70's. We love Spain and to travel. We have been to over 50 countries. We have decided that we will retire from work for good in the Spring of 2018. Since we feel the time is right now to purchase a home for our future, we bought a flat in Valencia in November. It is on Calle Jesus near the hospital. We hoping to find some US expats with whom we might strike up a friendship and hopefully learn what we need to know so we do not have to re-invent the wheel.
