I first visited Belize in 2006. Many trips of 2-3 weeks each up until 2014, then spent two months in 2015 Bought a house in Placencia Village in 2016, and as airfares are inexpensive, I will be making several trips a year, splitting my time between my lake home in DeCordova TX and Placencia.
The people, the weather, the Caribbean, 450 feet to the beach.
The poor condition of the roads, and the high import duties.

Buying a Bass Boat for some summertime fishing .
