Introduction

On a piece of paper, issued to me by a hospital in Nairobi when I was born on 2nd of June, 1984, I am Molline Mieru Mwangi. On another piece of paper issued to me by Daystar University, Nairobi, says that I am a graduate with a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Community Development and a minor in Psychology. Then, theres Mcensal School of Fashion Design that issued me another piece of paper, a Higher National Diploma, certifying me as a Fashion Designer. There are various pieces of paper that say who I am; from a National Identity Card and Passport that say that I am Kenyan, to a Driving License that says that I am a good driver, to Peer counselor/Teen counselor certificate that say I am an excellent counselor/facilitator at teens camps, to Organizing Secretary of the Drama Club at Daystar University, the list still continues to increase as long as I am alive and continue to gain experience. My life at Daystar University and Mcensal School of Fashion Design in Nairobi, Kenya has helped me learn a whole lot about myself. But in 5 little phrases; I am a happy person, I love people, Art is my life, Negative energy depresses me, I love diversity and I love the sun! At school I made good and bad choice, but that has made me who I am today. I made lifetime friends, acquired various life-changing experiences and skills and knew what I want/need for me. I am learning life! I love to bring out the good in everything and everyone I come in contact with. However, I can be pretty hard on myself because I love a good challenge and somewhat a perfectionist. In a lot of ways, presentation is everything so it has to be perfect (done to my best) or not done at all; although, I learn every day that it is never that serious sometimes. I enjoy the feeling of giving and serving selflessly. Then comes my love for people from wherever; learning from them (makes me a fast learner), them learning from me (makes me a good leader, I hope), experiencing different cultures and backgrounds of various people, and so on. Sharing is caring! I love to share to make the world a better place. My passion for the community and life experiences have taught me that anybody can make a positive different if they put their mind to it and keep at it. It begins with me, then that person next to me; one person can make that perpetual difference (make their world a better place). Leaving a legendary positive impact is something I aim at. Currently I am a Data Specialist in Nairobi (full time, short contract). It's a lot of team work. I enjoy team work because it involves sharing ideas on how best to improve self, work environment and productivity.
