I host the Overseas Life Redesign podcast. In 2010 my husband Tom and I left SoCal on our 50 ft sailboat and moved to FL for 6 years (See www.sailblogs.com/members/santorini for our blog) After 6 years we decided to move to Isla Mujeres, MX. We purchased a fabulous Oceanfront vacation rental (www.facebook.com/islamujeresvacay). I'm a former International Business Attorney and Tom is a retired electrical engineer and licensed Captain. We own a property management company along with the villa. My goal is to help teach others how to redesign their life overseas.
I am a female.
I am married. I am self-employed.

Need to find tennis courts!
Lots of Tennis! Some boating.
Warmer weather, better culture.
Not good for sailing our 50 ft ketch.
Made new friends, started a new business
Nice beaches, no traffic, inexpensive place to live
Too cold in winter, no middle class, very violent Summer storms/weather.
Too many to name!
Weather, people, lots of places to travel to a short distance away.
Traffic, expensive cost of living, water was too cold, limited sailing destinations.
Great place to grow up and be FROM!
WAAAY TOO COLD for this Tropical Gal!
