I am from Texas (just north of Dallas) and moved to Australia 3 1/2 years ago. I met a gorgeous Aussie who stole my heart and I've never looked back since moving here. Although I miss home sometimes (especially the holidays) Australia is my home now too. Many things are different but the same. I find Perth entirely frustrating sometimes because everything moves so slow, but at the same time, it's part of the charm too. Would love to meet other Americans living here in Perth.
