Hello everyone. Are there any Americans on this site??? I found this site quite incidentally a while ago. I am seriously considering relocating to Athens area by spring 2012. Much of my decision depends on finding gainful employment. I thought that this site would be helpful - I might meet others in my situation. My parents live in the southern pelopponese, about 5 hours from Athens, nothing much going on there, so Athens seems the likely place to begin. Two years ago I met a man online from Athens, and we have seen each other three times over the past two years. It is very obvious that for anything to move forward, I will be the one doing the moving. He has a business that cannot relocate. I love Greece, it is my heritage. I speak, read and write Greek. I recently established residency with passport and citizenship. I am excited and nervous at the same time. I am ready to venture out into a new world of discovery.......I am an esthetician, massage therapist, reflexologist and in the process of my homeopathic training as I write this. And soon I will be studying to teach english to foreign speakers......I welcome any and all legitimate and serious interactive comments. Anyone that can offer any assistance to make the transition easier would be wonderful. giasas
