I don't want to mislead anyone with my purpose of joining your Forum: I am a middle school teacher in the United States who recently tasked my students with learning about "far off lands", and I found myself tasked as well with learning about one they chose. They "assigned" me Reunion Island, thinking it would be very difficult. They were correct; there aren't a great deal of internet sights to choose from, and Wikipedia is not always trust worthy. So, I am looking for some one who might be able to give me some very basic answers to the questions I am asking of my own students. Help!
