We are travelers. Just returned from 3 months in Columbia, Ecuador, and Peru. Wehad to cut our trip short do to family situation at home. We have spent the last 20 years in Asia, traveling and doing business but find S.America more to our liking. We have been trying to move out of the US for years but this is where we have our business interests and have just not cut the "financial cord" but that time is near. We loved Banos, Vilcabama, ans also Otavallo. Cuenca was nice but muy gringos. After 20 years of spending 3-5 months a year out of America, we find we need gringo interaction but DO NOT want a gated community with typical Americans simply living out side US.
