I was born and grew up in Chicago. My family is Norwegian. Since I was a child, we spoke Norwegian at home and lived in Norway at various times. I lived in Las Vegas for about six years before moving to Izmir for retirement. I have completed the residency process, and I am living in Guzelbahce. I'd like to make contact with other expats. So far, I have met a wonderful British woman and hope to develop a long-lasting friendship with her. I will also be looking for an English-language writing group. I would also like to give private English and German lessons. Meanwhile, I am studying Turkish, which I studied and spoke some years ago with my then Turkish family. I have family in Norway and would like them to visit me often! I also have an ex-sister-in-law in Germany and plan to visit her. We were students in the University of Munich years ago and communicate in German.
