I am from the Dominican Republic, born in a small town called MANZANILLO, in the Province of Montecristi, that was used as banana business HQ by the United Fruit Company (Chiquita Bananas). I studied English there under the mentorship of the wives of the executives of the United Fruit that founded an English Private School, at the same time I completed my regular Spanish studies at the Public School. At the age of 14, I traveled some cities of the U.S.A. - visiting many Aunts that have married there - and stayed with Aunt Naná in Florida, where I graduated in 1969 with two majors and loved the american experience of Liberal Studies: Creative Writing and Drama Studies, most specially. At present Translator and Interpreter. Reside in Santo Domingo, D.N., Dominican Republic.
