I grew up in Shelton, WA which I consider my hometown. After high school, I attended University of Rochester in upstate NY and then did grad school at UC Berkeley. Upon graduation, I was recruited by Abbott Medical Optics to work at their intraocular lens division in Groningen. I lived in Groningen for just more than 2 years and have recently moved back to the US to begin a new chapter of my life. I've shared many good and not-so-good experiences with so many good friends in Groningen while picking up the Dutch language and earning some valuable industry experience. Thank you to all!
