I am from a small town, Mars, PA, USA and now live in Colonial Zone, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. I run a web site about the area in English (www.colonialzone-dr.com and http://colonialzone-dr.com/colonialzonenews) with all the info I know about the area to make it easier for tourists and anyone who wants to know about DR, the culture, the people, places to go and more.

Expat experience
I just try and enjoy my life. I run a web site about the area and the entire country. I love this country, most of the time, and plan on staying here forever.
I love the people here mostly. I like that everything is slow and usually easy.
I don´t like the humidity in the summer.I do not like that everything is usually slow and easy.
