Both Hulu and Fubo geoblock their streams so even with a VPN (ExpressVPN. etc.) their programming (local U.S. TV and national sports events) is unavailable in Vietnam. Are their any other options or alternatives?
I'd suggest that you use one of the US based streaming plans. I get 960 channels and use the same plan in the states and when I'm in VN. I use with a VPN (for online safety) but they don't care about location. Cost is $23/month. You need to ... Read More

Opening a bank account by williamherron13
We send money from the US to my wife's sister in Vietnam regularly and visit every year or so. Use a service located here that charges a reasonable fee and delivers to her doorstep within 24 hours. I wonder if we opened a joint account ...
One other thought on transferring money from the US. You can use XOOM.com which is part of PayPal. They will automatically withdraw money from a US bank account. Pay out is at any Vietcom Bank. Like Western Union, you show ID and have the ... Read More
Another Visa Question --- by deebee123
Now that Vietnam seems to have opened up to visitors again, is the One-Year Multi-Entry Visa for U.S. citizens available again? I have read conflicting reports about the visa--- Some say it hasn't been reinstated yet, while others claim it is now ...
@deebee123 Instead of asking on the forum, probably better to check the embassy or consulate websites in the US (Houston, NY, SF, DC) and you will see they are not issuing the 1 year visa. I have been working with the SF consulate on the 5 year ... Read More
