Hi there, Nigel here, I am looking for tips on ex-pat life in Hanoi. What are the essentials to bring over from Australia? What is difficult to buy in Vietnam? Where can I cycle and what type of bike should I bring over? are the gyms good quality or should I ship over my own gear? (Rowing machine, exercise bike etc.) Originally from the UK, I took a year out to travel in my 30s and ended up living for 2 years in Malaysia (2004-6) . Moved to Sydney afterwards and have been in Australia ever since. In March 2021 I start another adventure as I head to Hanoi, Vietnam to work for the One Mount group in Data & Analytics. Really looking forward to it .
