I've been reading posts on here for a number of years. Now we are getting closer to retiring and have been planning on the DR for many years. Originally we were set on the Cabarete/Cabrera area as we love that you have beach, lush foliage, mountains close by, etc. However, my husband is a big golfer and wants to golf a few days a week in retirement. We started looking in the PC area a few years ago and he loves the courses. Very undecided now which area would be best.
