Introduction
I'm from The Bahamas but lived in New York for 5 years before I moved to Vienna. I'm married to a Viennese who has a large family which is lots of fun. I enjoy traveling and really like that Vienna is sort of a hub to all the other European nations. I started a balcony garden this summer which has provided us with lots of yummy treats; although the produce here is far superior to what was available in NY (if you can't tell, I'm a NY foodie, lol). I enjoy roller-blading, cycling, skiing, swimming, and boating activities as well. I look forward to finding new friends to enjoy the excellent lifestyle available here in Vienna.

Expat experience
Gosh, what's not to like - the restaurants/cafes/bars, the museums, the cultural diversity of the inhabitants, the fact that you can board a plane to almost anywhere from NY - just an awesome experience.
The noise (although it adds to the electrifying feel of the city) and the fact that you never knew your neighbors.
