I'm a New Zealander who moved to Istanbul, met a Belgian, spent 10 years living in Antwerp before moving to London for that year after the divorce. Now living in Genoa, Italy, I am a professional photographer and writer, starting life over again. I'm loving it.
I joined expat.com on 22 March 2006.
To live and work as a professional photographer, copy writer, and writer.
I love that Genoa seems like the best of every place I've lived and loved.
That I have been so slow to learn Italian. I've been returning here since 2008
Married to a Flemish guy ...
I enjoyed the time I spent working out on Flanders Fields, with good people I knew there. I was on tv a few times, and got to live a side of life that foreigners don't often see.
It was the most challenging place I've ever lived but I'll answer that privately, if you have questions.
Photography
The enormity of it, in every way. Physically and Psychologically
Childhood, wife, mother ... university and various jobs, as I followed my first husband, advancing his career.
I love the landscape in NZ but it's Home ... in every way I need it to be home.
I think I loved it ... no dislikes really, or nothing serious.
