Living in the Sierras after 2 decades in Africa, and, after I recoup the budget from the old house I have renovated, trying to think what to do next. Meanwhile, lovely people, perfect climate, and the view of the mountains makes me smile every day. This is the place I want to get old in, whether or not there is someone in the rocking chair next to me. I just wish I didn't have to keep the hot sauce bottle in my handbag to get the food interesting...
