Hi, I'm Jamie and I am desperately seeking a move to Belgrade, Serbia. I'm joining this website to hopefully gain some advice from the experience of others and possibly find some help with my my employment search too. I already have an apartment in Belgrade city centre (my girlfriend lives there) and I hope to obtain a residence permit and work permit upon securing a job. A little bit about my employment history - I graduated from the University of Central England in 2007, with a BA (honours) degree in Business Psychology & Human Resource Management. Following this I gained a position with one of Birminghams top law firms, in their Human Resources department. After a successful spell with this company, I was selected to work for Ernst & Young LLP, one of the worlds biggest and most reputable professional services organisations. After two years working within their Human Resources department I decided that I wanted a career change and moved into the logistics industry. Initially my new role was administration based, however the company soon realised that I was capable of much more and gave me the responsibility of managing a portfolio of customer accounts, the largest of which turns over approximately £250,000 per annum. This experience of customer account management, combined with the experience of working within one of the worlds largest companies has given me valuable management, organisation and leadership skills. I am willing to take on any position at all, as all I care about is moving to Belgrade, I really just need some help with making this all happen! Any advice given to me is gratefully received!
