I've crossed the border and came back in many times before getting residency..and each time it resets the 90 day limit.. can't say you won't get stopped.. but look like a decent person..and most of the time.. the 'rules' are not followed.. they let ... Read More

well..we are waiting for the new residency card.. but the Russians are concentrating on former Ukrainians to get their Russia passports first.. we don't know where we fit in the 'new order'..best bet ..stand by for further instructions! Read More

900 pounds.. for what?.. I am american but I think the admin charges including the D visa were less than 200 dollars.. get you D visa in a poor country like Moldova.. the charges are different..depending where you apply for it..Its not one price ... Read More

its allowed... I went there twice.. for a p-1 and later the D.. you can get it in one day..if you get there in the morning.. just make sure you go on a day they process D visa's..call ahead.. make sure no weird holidays either.. and PS..bring a ... Read More

It might be the D visa you had was for temp living.. there are sub categories for the D visa's .. maybe that's why she told you to cross the border.. the 45 day D visa starts when I got one and came back to Ukraine.. but it was for permanent ... Read More

its a proof..of residence in your home country.. some government agency in your country should be able to certify your address..bring that document with you.. I know it sounds like nonsense.. why they need it.. who knows...I got one from my embassy ... Read More

she means 'go get a D Visa.. come back.. and start the process.. you can visit any country that has a Ukraine embassy.. Moldova we used..closest... you need a apostle of your permanent resident address in the country you are from.. new rule last ... Read More

residency and title to property ..cars and apartment ..can be a problem.. until you get some type of residency.. I had to put the title to our car in wifes name.. reasons unclear.. but it was easier... I don't think a foreigner can own land ... Read More
