I am from Northern California, San Francisco Area, currently living in the Seattle Area. I want to travel to Costa Rica, Ecuador and Europe to see if this may be a place where I would like to make my new home. I have not traveled to many places. Only Canada and Mexico. I loved the people in both of these countries. I love small town friendliness of people, being able to be near some English speakers, yet also being able to be immersed in the culture and learn the language. I am in my early 50's and have always worked in the schools with many Spanish students as an assistant. I need to know about climate and housing and jobs. I prefer to live in a climate that is not tooooo hot, so I am not sure if Costa Rica/Italy/Spain are the places for me, however I am sure someone will know of a more moderate climate or a smaller place for me. I want to live near a city, however, not too far out. Thank you! I look forward to your comments, Peace.
