I am a semi-retired professional having found a semi retirement home away from home,( I want to see my new and future grandchildren a lot for the next few years) we are building a bungalow on the coastline of Ecuador. My husband will likely be doing some consulting in Health Safety and environmental audits so will need to be flying back and forth for those periods of time. We have found a place with other ex pats but also be close enough to the local residents that we can enjoy a new culture as well. We will be living in las olas (look up Las O As founders club)in bahia de caraquez a few kilometres down the coast towards manta.
