Am thinking of buying in Dominican We have been there 6 times and love the Punta Cana region but have only stayed all inclusive so really have no idea as to what it is really like. I don't think we will be living there full time for lots of years ...
It is a lot more expensive to live here than you may think. Unless you want to live with very little and not have an American lifestyle. North Coast rocks it! Read More

Overstay changes? by tp3813
Have there been any changes re overstay? French friend of mine seems to think so. He said on the French Embassy website it says Visas will be needed and are valid for 3 months? I know there have been rumours of changes, but personally I think he ...
There are overstay charges but they are minimal. On DR1 there was just a discussion about fees and someone posted the fee chart. I can't remember the actual website they were on. If you search overstay fees on DR1 you might be able to find it. Read More
Flying Cats by paulkearton
Hi, Does anyone have a rough idea of costs for sending our cat from the London Heathrow to Vancouver, BC.? Don't need exact cost just a guide (i.e. Hundreds/thousands).
When I flew my pets over to another country I checked MANY different Airlines Websites to see the best prices and or best situations for the pets. Every Airline seems to have different rules. Read More
