how is the electricity there? by Judy expat in Mexico

I meant to ask, how is the electricity there? Same as in the US or do I need an adapter?

jerby

I am not a technical guy and I don't know how to call these specific plugs but here goes nothing. If your charger has those flat plugs then you are all right. Most of the sockets there can accommodate that and even the circle ones too. If ... Read More

Backpack or rolling carry-on? Depends on your physical condition and what you want to do there :) If you plan to do a lot of travelling across the country then probably it is better to have a back pack but If your plan is just to go to Siem Rep, ... Read More

Ditto with me. I never had a vaccine shot but just to be sure, get it if you can. Usual problems in the Kingdom are (just like in any tropical country) dengue, malaria and also Chikungunya. Coming from a tropical country, I am sure you have a lot of ... Read More

As far as I know, there is only one prominent brand there, which is Adidas. If adidas is passable for you, then you can go to one of thier stand alone stores in Phnom Penh. I don't know about Siem Rep or Sihanoukville. You can find other brands ... Read More

Basketball in Phnom Penh ? by Travelmic

Hi, I arrived in Phnom Penh 3 weeks ago and I'm wondering if anyone knows where I could play basketball. Either a club or a playground were people go playing. Or anyone interested in practicing with me. Thanks a lot Cheers, Michael

jerby
