I am from the United States of America. I write and teach. My children are nearing adulthood now, which means it is time to start seriously looking into the pros and cons of moving, rather than just thinking about it. My reasons are multiple and have existed since childhood, when I first learned of how my family came to be in the United States, coupled with strong feelings of isolation that came from being "the only Jew" around.
