Back in Slovakia! To learn Slovak best I can, to look after my family, become a TEFL teacher and to study further to complete my pilot training.
Laid back family life, low rent, able to enrol my daughter into affordable full time nursery, no mortgage commitments, have family nearby to help out with the kids, able to study for both teaching and commercial pilot's licence.
Language challenge (still learning), parts of Slovak life seem unfair, no home comforts such as tv in English, local cusine (getting used to it :) )
To get a better and well paid job in sales to save money for the future and see where it takes me and my wife.
The best parts were managing to save money to buy a property, fund a pilot's licence and get married with children, Lovely countryside, shopping at the Swindon Outlet, some nice parks to take the kids to, cheaper property as opposed to towns/cities closer to London.
The culture (there didn't seem to be any), the run down town centre, lack of job opportunities, in my opinion, general negative vibe.
Lived with my girlfriend, learned a little slovak, wanted to get experience working internationally. I also most importantly wanted to get to know myself a bit better. :)
The Bratislava skyline and viewpoints from UFO bridge and Kamzik were spectacular (both night and day), interesting cuisine, nice group of friends, great weather and lifestyle.
no jobs/opportunities at the time, found it difficult to explain myself in Slovak, Didn't feel I was earning enough to move forward plus I wasn't moving in the career direction that I desired.
Graduated from high school, went to College to study highers, National Qualifications in Multimedia and Computing.
Having my family and friends nearby, beautiful scenery, culture and banter.
Unpredictable weather, lack of opportunities for what I wanted to do. Pay is generally less than in England.
