I am moving to Minsk at the end of the month for a 6 month contract. I have some eastern European connections (Ukraine) but do not speak any Russian. I am looking for someone or a number of people to show me around and assist during my stay. I work in the construction / interior design field and have to set up a new office in the region and co-ordinate the design of a new hotel in the city. I am pretty laid back and easy going. I would like to meet with people who have a good grasp of English, like to go out for a drink occasionally and know the area. I am open to any suggestions or ideas on how to get started once I arrive.
