my family and i (son-15, daughter-11)are currently located in tullahoma, tn. we own a cabin in the tn mntns that we bought after the horror of hurricanes katrina and rita. i have attempted to figure out every angle for a possible retirement--which does not seem possible in my lifetime due to the extreme losses from the storms. however, after doing much research the world over, i have become very interested in ecuador as a possible refuge for my potential retirement years. ecuador may be the place for me. i spend alot of time reading blogs and researching sites for my future. my children are still in school. i don't see that as a problem to relocation. i would be in a better position to do more for my children and myself in ecuador as opposed to these united states of hysterica. i hope to hear from some expats living in ecuador. i would enjoy the coorespondence and information i could glean from an experienced american expat. here's hoping to hear from y'all!!!
