I am a Canadian citizen, legally married for just over 4 1/2 years to a Cuban citizen (known each other for over 5 years) and with a 1 year young daughter (with a Canadian passport!). We have been unsuccessful in obtaining a Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) Visa approved to enable my wife to come here to Canada after going through a monkey trial scenario with CBSA. I am multicultural with a Dutch background, born in Indonesia and am able to communicate, somewhat, in Spanish. Because our separation has been, and continues, to be painful, I am contemplating moving and living in Cuba and applying for PR.status in Cuba. The projection for this is September 2015, God willing.
