Nice place to live, public transportation is easy to reach
Its expensive place by far, some Asian spice cant found here yet they wont allow you to bring inside the country, the local sales person really "aggressive" type
Surabaya is nice place where can get all you need, no need drive as taxi so cheap and pretty honest driver. Jakarta is more city and everything in there more likely following western.
Jakarta traffic jam is really bad, and poor public transportation. It is not easy to find non-western food, only certain mall have it
