I was born in Durban in 1972, have lived all around Durban and surrounding areas. Grew up living on the beach, surfing and living a beach style life.
I liked the proximity to the ocean, the warm and humid weather and the people. There is a lot going on between the Drakensburg mountains and the Indian ocean.
The city has deteriorated dramatically, crime is rife, services have disappeared... the city remains wonderful, the way it is managed leaves a lot to be desired!
