Retired,full time author of humour/travel/reality books. Twenty years in SE Asia and still relatively sane...ish previously in the Oil and Gas construction business but since being crippled by Osteoparosis now legless...ok me and me mates managed quite well in this condition before but now I am REALLY legless... as in stuck in a wheelchair...bit of a bastard but pointless whinging, new outlook on life new challenges and all that guff. Rapidly discovered that the majority of Indonesia is NOT wheelchair friendly but most of the working class lads and lasses ARE...i.e. heaving me and my device up and down steps and crumbling kerbs...being penniless certainly has its drawbacks but one positive aspect is the 'uniforms' lose interest...seven months in 'local' hospital and it has to be said no complaints at all at either treatment or conditions...lost 45kgs in weight and wrote out the basis for my first book as mental therapy... now have six self published in total ... want more info drop me an email...
