Relocating Info

Hi guys,

I am considering applying for a job which if I am successful, would mean relocating from UK. I am 47, my wife is 46 and daughter is 11.

My wife is a qualified nursery manager, would she get work/job ok?

Would I need to consider school fees for my daughter, or is education free?

Any information gratefully received.

@richardjsmith76 hi to be honest you may end up living on your one salary. Nursery manager roles are typically held by Bermudians, not saying it will be impossible for her to get a job working at a nursery but likely not as a manager but she may be able to do some nanny work with a work permit perhaps working for a family or a normal nursery job.

There are government schools here but they're not particularly rated well and so your child will聽 not get the same standard of education聽 as she would in the UK. You're better of sending her to private school and that costs anywhere from 25k-35k including expenses.
