Post new topic

hi i am in a relationship with someone who lives in CR and who has a daughter. they live in San Jose. we are looking to take our relationship to the next level and i am hoping to eventually move over there. i currently live in the uk.

i am in receipt of a pension but would need to work to supplement this. i was wondering if any ex pats were in a position to advise me?   I’m ex military and retired law enforcement.

i look forward to hearing from you.

kindest regards.

@harvey1168......You are coming to the wrong country for your hustle.....I am sure your new family wants out of Costa Rica because most do,who get involved with Americans or other foreigners....Coming to a 3rd world country looking for employment is not too smart...

Two considerations, Harvey. First, it is illegal for any tourist or temporary resident to work in a job that could be filled by a Costa Rican citizen. Second, wages in Costa Rica are laughably low as compared to what you're used to in the UK. Coming here to work is not a good plan.
