Hi everyone,

My husband and I just moved to Paphos this week. We were here earlier this year so know some of Paphos but still undecided about where to live - we are being encouraged to look above the humidity zone but want to be close enough for a daily sea swim (4/5 miles is fine). I see that there are a lot of rentals advertised in Tala but know someone who moved out of Tala recently due to hikes in rents.

I will search this forum but if there are any recent threads or advice about buying used cars in Paphos that would be much appreciated.

Hikes in rents at the moment is inevitable.. cant get away from that sadly...

I'm in Tala and very nice but Tala is an expensive area especially Kamares. Worth it if u can stretch the budget

Hi, We are moving to Limassol. from the UK, on 30th December. Initially we will be renting a serviced flat somewhere in the centre whilst we look for longer term options. My wife is retired but I aim to continue working subject to obtaining the appropriate visa. We are fortunate to have a number of Cypriot friends in Limassol but should like to meet up with the ex pat community. Until we can ship our car to Cyprus we need to find a reliable firm through which we can organise a long term car rental and should appreciate any recommendations from the community. Hopefully we can meet some of you soone. Michael
