@moverandshaker I was in Belgium on a working holiday and applied for it from within Belgium as I found an employer to sponsor me for a working Visa

@hegdevinay96 Hey, I received my WP on 22/01/2024 and according to this thread, there is a gap between Jan 5th and Jan 18th, where we have no cases to compare to.

However, I'm optimistic about starting to see some action for us in the next 10 days let's say.

What does it means there is a gap between the dates?

I just mean that we don't have any active members with WP between Jan 5th and 18th so we can't know what's happening in the background at the immigration office when they are processing dates in that interval. We can only wait and see

I had asked the HR to enquire at the immigration department this week. That might have expedited my application a bit.

My HR called them today and they said that they are indeed processing application with a WP between 8th and 24th of January and that the processing time is between 11 weeks (which is this week for me) and 14 weeks. Let's see!

The Immigration Office has a turnaround time of:

First applications: 12 weeks

Renewals: 5 weeks
