Hi all,

What do you think about the means of transportation in Oran ?

Is the network of means of transportation well developed?
What modes of transport are available?

Do you use them?

How much is a fare?

Are they relatively safe?

What is the mean of transportation you use the most in Oran?

Hi,

Well the most common is to use bus or taxi, still dunnot have metro, the bus is not expensive ( 10/20 DA - less than 1 EU ) taxis in Oran are not as expensive as in Algiers, but most of them will propose you a fixed price from a place to place for ex from the airport to the sheraton hotel 500 DA - less than 4 EU, biggest part of taxis is working through a counter, there is a lot of traffic in Oran, but traffic lights are reducing a huge part.

Transport in Oran is great. Mainly buses, taxies which are really cheap and affordable, and now we have the tramway, which is great and cheap as well. 40 AD which is around 1/2聙 !
