Public Transport in Namibia is virtually non-existent! There are taxis in the cities (Windhoek and Swakopmund) and long distance buses like InterCape (similar to a Greyhound), but for the rest there is nothing. Most people have their own transport which, if you are venturing anywhere out of the major towns, should be a 4x4 vehicle as the roads are mostly gravel.Â
