Dear all, Hope you are doing grea!! Last month (March) I submitted my application for Belgian Nationalityin Evere Town Hall. I was informed that I will receive a letter from commune in a month, however, I did not receive any thing until now? Does this mean that counter of 4-5 months is not started yet? Please share your experience. Thanks a lot!!

@ItaloBelg actually we have a wedding in family in uk so thinking that is the passpprt for them is imp or not or they can travel on id card

@zarminaibrar They need passports for UK visit .. you can ask for fast procedure with some extra fees ..

@zarminaibrar Hey, Could you please tell me if you specifically asked the commune to include the baby in the nationality application? May I ask you if the baby was born here? I mean what circumstances qualified him to get the nationality as well? along with your husband? Please provide detailed insight.

My baby born here in Brussels on 30th april 2023 and my husband applied for nationality in Schaerbeek commune as my baby have the belgium birth certificate they said that its no need to apply for the baby. And when the nationality approves they clearly mentioned in email that if you have any child under the age of 18 they can also got the belge nationality along with the parents( mother or father)
