Hello All members, I trust you all are doing well.

I will be moving to Bahrain in a couple of months, wanted to know the below:

1) My children (7years and 4years) will be enrolled in school, which schools are good, not very expensive I would say?

2) A good locality to live, I would prefer something near the school to avoid much travel time for the children.

As far as british schools go, BSB is good.  And the locality in proximity to it is Hamala.   Alternatively, there is also St Chris.

Thank you for your reply, while doing my due diligence I came across the below, would appreciate if you can comment on them:

1) Schools: Nadeen and Quest

2) Living Area: Juffair, Amwaj and Janabiya

Actually I lived in UAE all my life, moved to KSA in 2021 and now will be moving to Bahrain, I am clueless of the new place.

Nadeen is supposed to be a good school.  Don't know much about Quest as it is a new one.

Check this website:     It displays school quality reports and ratings.  Highest is outstanding and there are only 7-8 I think which have it..........including BSB, RVIS etc.

If you are going with Nadeen then I would not live in either Juffair or Janabiyah as it will be too far from there.  Besides Janabiyah is preferred by people who commute to Saudi everyday for work.  Juffair, I will pass on if you are living with a family as it is party central on the weekend with tons of Saudis/Qataris/Kuwaitis who cross the causeway for this purpose.
