Child day care: any ideas.....

Hi there,

I have two children, a 4 year old, and a 21/2 year old. My wife is currently not working but looking to head back to work in next few months.

Most day care options seem to finish around 12-1pm, but we would need daycare / nursery until about 4pm.

Does anyone know of a daycare centre / nursery that offers the extended day?

I live in Budaiya / Barbar area and work near the F1 circuit, so would really appreciate any ideas that do not involve heading into the city!

Hi, I don't know of any but you could try going onto Facebook and looking at the mums in Bahrain page, they might have some ideas

Hi Bartowel,

My knowledge in the matter is rather poor, my own kids being all grown up now and most of my friends' kids being older than yours are going to school already :p
I'm not that sure you will find a lot of those "all day care" facilities as here most of the working mums hire a staying in nanny or rely on their family to help.

I guess TMG's suggestion is a good move !
